Greentea Peng - Revolution [Video]
Out today, Greentea Peng releases the visuals for her reggae inspired call for change, ‘Revolution’, once again showing off her street-smart, spiritual wisdom and her spot-on insight into the vibrant world of London.
Swaggering and singing through her London stomping ground, Greentea Peng (AKA Aria Wells) reflects on the tumultuous times of today - the inequality, pain and oppression that seems to be permeating everywhere we look. While questioning what the future holds and exploring the struggle that we as a whole are facing, Greentea also calls for hope and a way forward. The visuals are what we’ve come to expect from the woozy neo-soul artist: effortlessly cool, uncompromisingly authentic and tinged with psychedelia. In the video’s description, Greentea shares:
“A result of recent turmoil: political, societal, and individual. 2020, a painfully transformative year for the collective. Revolution is a product of this pain and also the anger we’ve been struggling to move through, at the same time it represents the hope conjured. A reminder to remember where the first revolution must take place and also a reminder to be aware of where and what we put our energy and belief into.”
