Introducing LONE an exclusive DJ mix by Almass Badat [Audio Mix]

We’ve got the perfect antidote to get you up and lively this beautiful Sunday morning and of course, it comes in the form of an array of magical sounds from around the globe. As a multi-disciplinary artist, our good friend Almass Badat has many creative talents and today, we shine light on her journey as an emerging DJ.

Making her DJ debut in India last week for Boxout Wednesdays 138 at Summer House Cafe, New Delhi, Almass also took the time to create LONE, an incredible DJ mix spanning genre’s from Hip Hop to Bhangra, Grime to Afro Beats and more.

“The title LONE is very much self-explanatory - this is my journey, one that is just mine, but also one that I can share with the world. The artwork is an exploration of my style - moving beyond the physical, the natural,” Almass Badat.

With the aim to present LONE as an elevated audio experience, Almass worked with a team of creatives to develop the identity of the project, as well as embark on her own journey of self exploration through heritage and beyond. “I have worked with a team of people over months in London and Delhi to make this happen, as I explore my South Asian roots as well as musical influences from around the world,” shares Almass.
