Let’s cut straight to the chase, Swindle is that guy right now! The man behind the buttons, having created some of the UK’s sickest tunes last year... It still feels weird to say last year but hey, 2019 has arrived and things are in motion. But touching back on last year real quick, remember ‘Water’ by Kojey Radical and Mahalia? Or what about ‘One Night Only’ featuring the same said pair? Well, Swindle produced them both as well as this banger right here ‘Coming Home,’ which once again features rapper and visual artist Kojey Radical as well. We gotta admit, this trio is getting it in right now.

The musical chemistry between Swindle and Kojey is magical. Together, they simply create great British music. A hip hop track exposing a jazz influence, with the inclusion of a brass band, Kojey raps about the joys of making it home, the struggles of the life he lives and the past he’s journeyed. The visuals are fun, a theatre production and a crazy director with nothing going her way. A number of differing scenes from Kojey on a horse (yes an actual horse), to the ‘man dem’ on the block and then easing out into a Black Panther inspired scene, whilst Kojey recites his spoken word section within the track.

‘Coming Home’ is taken from Swindle’s forthcoming album ‘No More Normal,’ an ideal for the multi instrumentalist, producer and DJ to do things his way with no rules or limitations. A concoction of influence from Grime to Jazz and from London to LA, it’s bound to be an album with an interesting offering. Especially with the array of collaborations, including the likes of Etta Bond and Ghetts.

‘No More Normal’ is due for release January 25 2019. Whilst we wait on it, you can check out the heat on the official video for ‘Coming Home’ below.
