She’s more than put in the hours, and now it seems, Sinéad Harnett is ready to shine. With inflections of Spanish guitar, ‘Lessons’ is the sound of Harnett settling into her own voice and taking no nonsense.

Having grown through the likes of ‘If You Let Me’ and ‘Unconditional,’ she no longer has time for the ambiguity of modern relationships, and demands her unnamed partner to ‘show me who you are’ over lush visuals, shot in moody golds and blacks.

What results is a confident, polished track with vulnerabilities still very much in place – who hasn’t related to the defence mechanism of a cold shoulder?
