Cheap Monday launch the newest edition of their ‘C/O Collection’

C/O Cheap Monday: Repurposed Workwear

C/O Cheap Monday: Repurposed Workwear

Being in an age of ‘fast fashion’ and the ever-increasing fear of pollution and environmentalism, clothing brand Cheap Monday has taken discarded items and upcycled them into an incredible collection.

The brand, known for their street-influenced design style, shines a light on untouched resources, creating new garments through the repurposing of workwear. With their latest C/O Cheap Monday drop, existing pieces of clothing are taken and reimagined into brand new garments. This vastly reduces climate emissions, waste and chemical use – so you can look good and feel good too!

Consisting of jackets, work chinos, tees, sweats and a bag, the collection is all about a relaxed, cool and worn look.

Cheap Monday got together with Re:Textile on this project, within Science Park Borås in Sweden, to focus on developing circular processes and starting the conversation, in how the textile industry works. The goal is to create new business opportunities and use less environmental resources.

To support the release of C/O Cheap Monday 2018, the brand produced a short documentary revealing the process, including first-hand insights from their creative director, Carl Malmgren as well as a number of key actors from the project.

The capsule collection is available now from cheapmonday.com and also Urban Outfitters.
